Alternative Family Services (ASF) is a foster, adoptions and mental health agency that has been creating safe, permanent connections for foster children and youth in the Bay Area since 1978. With the belief that all children have the right to live in a healthy family, AFS upholds a commitment to building sustainable relationships surrounding children and youth in and out of foster care through four distinct, accredited areas of service: foster services, adoptions, mental health services and services to transition aged youth.
Although KicKee wishes we could provide all children with a family and a safe place to call home, we figure the least we could do is help keep them clothed and warm. AFS was extremely grateful to receive a generous donation from us of nearly 600 adorable and highly needed Items, including coveralls, bibs, lovies, training pants, layette and PJ sets, tops, bottoms and snuggly plush toys!
