Sharing Hope

Sharing Hope

Loving kits for lovely babies.

A little over two years ago, Christine Martin and her husband felt called to serve families that found themselves in the NICU and PICU. They hosted a kit assembly party that they lovingly named Sharing Hope and with the help from family, friends, and neighbors, they were able to create and donate 150 infant care kits to UVA’s Children’s Hospital. Sharing Hope aspires for each parent to find encouragement in knowing that their sweet babies are not only being prayed for, but are also truly being celebrated as well!

Sharing Hope will be hosting their second kit assembly party this July to be delivered to UVA’s Children’s Hospital at the beginning of August. Specially tailored for babies in the NICU, their kits this year will contain a swaddle set, a book, a soft toy, an outfit/onesie, a special item (i.e. bows, headbands, hats, socks, etc.), and a small gift card to Starbucks for parents.

To help bundle up all of those beautiful babies, KicKee donated nearly 400 precious items, including tops, bottoms, dresses, footies, coveralls, bibs, lovies, PJ sets, socks, swaddles and overnight bags!

Your item donations are also greatly appreciated or you can choose something from their Amazon registry by visiting: http://www.amazon.com/registry/baby/TSIG2UXZ327K
