Family Builders – First Annual East Bay Fundraiser!
Family Builders has nearly 25 years of experience in helping children and youth in the foster care system find permanent, loving families with whom they can live. They connect children with individuals and couples who can provide safe, stable, nurturing families. Their services are free and confidential, and include adoption, foster care, and other forms of permanency.
Family Builders believes that every child has the right to grow up in a permanent, nurturing family regardless of that child’s age, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or medical, physical or emotional condition. Family Builders educates the community about the needs of waiting children, advocates on their behalf, and places children with permanent, secure families through adoption, and other forms of permanence. Family Builders’ goal is that no child will leave the foster care system without a permanent, loving and caring parent.
To help Family Builders raise funds for their very important cause, KicKee donated a few baskets containing an assortment of tops, bottoms, PJs, onesies, books, plush toys and more to be auctioned off at their first annual, family-friendly East Bay fundraiser on October 21st, 2018 at the Joaquin Miller Community Center in Oakland.
