Help save our mom from colon cancer!
Christine is a loving mother of five and doting grandmother of eleven, all of whom love and adore her deeply. She and her family are incredibly close, which makes Christine’s struggle with cancer all the more heartbreaking. Despite her efforts to live a healthy, active and vegan lifestyle, she was diagnosed with colon cancer in March of 2017 after undergoing a bowel resection surgery. In June of last year she traveled to Germany for treatment at a clinic in Frankfurt. Recent scans, however, have discovered two new tumors, which Christine would like to treat with locally available therapies not covered by her insurance.
Devastated by their mom’s prognosis and confronted by the painful reality of possibly having to live life without her, her family is hoping and praying the treatments will be effective, but they need your help!
As her daughter Acacia describes, “My mom is an amazing woman and a pillar of strength.” We were so saddened to hear the news when Acacia reached out to us for help that we sent her mom a soft and cozy t-shirt and nightgown to snuggle up in and a couple of adorable items for Acacia’s daughter.
