Grant Me Hope
Help us help foster children who hope for adoption!
Each year, roughly 23,000 children age out of the foster care system because they are too old, are part of sibling groups or have medical or emotional issues. Heartbroken by this devastating reality, Grant Me Hope was formed on September 11, 2014 as a marketing initiative focused on finding older foster children adoptive homes before they term out of the system. Thanks to the collaboration of MARE (Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange), Michigan Department of Human Services, and Fusion Graphic Consultants, Grant Me Hope is now a recognized nonprofit that features a video of a foster child weekly on various television stations throughout Michigan and Ohio with the intention of eventually expanding into every state.
Grant Me Hope has three primary goals: to educate the public about the plight of the aged out foster child, to recruit more families to limit the number of children in institutions, and to get as many children adopted as possible.
Hopeful to be helpful, KicKee donated 125 tops and bottoms and nearly 250 other adorable items, including footies, coveralls, onesies, outerwear, training pants, PJ sets, layettes, hats, socks, newborn gift sets, dresses, rompers and snuggly loveys and swaddles to the foster children cared for by Grant Me Hope!
