Since 1944, Bethany Christian Services has been reaching out to children who are alone or vulnerable. As a worldwide and community leader in adoption and family services, they know that a child's best chance to thrive is as part of a safe, loving, forever family. Their goal is to help expectant parents, and the adoptive families they choose, make the adoption plan that works best for them and the child they both love.
KicKee was fortunate enough to work with one of the pregnancy counselors at Bethany Christian Services in Memphis, TN whose job is to support and counsel expectant parents throughout their pregnancy and to explore their options of parenting and adoption. She often works with parents who have made the decision at the hospital to make an adoption plan for their baby and find themselves in need of newborn outfits and blankets for when the babies get discharged from the hospital. When we learned that several of the adoptive families had nothing to bring their new baby home in, our hearts sank and we jumped at the chance to do our part by donating more than a hundred clothing items, including footies, coveralls, bottoms, layette sets, headbands and newborn gift sets to Bethany Christian Services!
