New Beginnings Foster Closet — Bremerton, WA
Providing a much-needed service to foster children and their foster families.
New Beginnings is a non-profit organization that allows foster families to shop for clothing at no cost at all, which is a huge help to foster parents and the children they are caring for!
The New Beginnings Closet now serves between 25-50 children every week and has become a hub for families to connect, volunteer and share resources. Foster children often arrive with nothing but a few items in a garbage bag. After a visit to the closet, they leave with everyday essentials, including underwear, pajamas, hygiene products, comfort items and most significantly, a boost to their self-esteem.
Our very own Lotus Dots customer service team, and our youngest little helper Milly, had the pleasure of delivering a donation of four large boxes containing hundreds of adorable KicKee items, including tops, bottoms, footies, onesies, coveralls, dresses, swaddles, bibs, headbands, crib sheets and so much more to this local organization!
