A Family-Centered Approach to Healing
At The Children’s Hospital, pediatric staff blends years of training with education, research, and technology to improve the lives of children throughout the region. The obstetric emergency room at The Children’s Hospital is a regional referral center for the state, and the neonatal intensive care unit provides the highest level of newborn care in Oklahoma. Children’s is also home to the only 24/7 pediatric emergency room in Oklahoma City. With a family-centered approach to healing, Children’s offers resources from pet therapy to child life specialists who help families cope with hospitalization and illness. From advanced surgical services to general pediatrics, oncology care and more, The Children’s Hospital provides cutting-edge research and treatments through hospital-based and outpatient services.
Many of us would not survive if not for our everyday heroes who devote their lives to help save ours. One of our very own little KicKee heroes, sweet Ady, helped us give back to the special heroes in her life who nursed her through Stage 4 Nueroblastoma cancer to becoming CANCER FREE – news she received right before celebrating her 7th birthday! With Ady’s help, we were able to facilitate a donation of 40 First Layer Tees in our Oasis Medicine print from our latest Everyday Heroes collection to all of the nurses on the Oncology and Hematology Floor of the OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Thank you heroes for all of your incredibly difficult and life saving work!
