The vision and dream for Coastal Hope existed long before its formation. Although seeing others in crisis always weighed heavily on their hearts, it took hurricane Dorian for the founders of Coastal Hope to realize that they really could make a global difference by helping those in need in coastal communities. Coastal Hope works with an amazing team of volunteers and donors, ages 3-90, who are committed to helping others. They take their convictions and turn them into actions by focusing on families who are helping other coastal families in need.
When Coastal Hope reached out wanting us to collaborate with them to provide swaddles to children whose homes had been ravaged by hurricane Dorian, we were eager to help. Luckily, we have just about every print imaginable, so when they requested swaddles with ocean themes or stripes, we said, “not a problem!” We sent Coastal Hope 55 swaddles for boys and girls in all different type of fun fish, sea and stripe prints to include in donations they are gifting to people in the hardest hit area of the Bahamas, the Abacos. They even made sure to send some to children who lost everything as a result of the hurricane in Louisiana as well!
