Planned Parenthood’s story began nearly 100 years ago in 1929 with the inception of the Maternal Health Center in San Francisco, followed by the nation’s first comprehensive sex education program for teens in 1967. They are the nation’s foremost provider of sexual and reproductive health care, information and advocacy.

Planned Parenthood Northern California champions healthy communities and increases access to quality health care, information and reproductive freedom by providing medical services, education, and advocacy. 

When one of our KicKee employees isn’t busy finding organizations for us to donate to, she is working as a prenatal counselor at Planned Parenthood, so she thought, “What better place to donate to than one filled with pregnant woman?!” A huge KicKee fanatic herself, she wanted to spread the love by having us send a shipment to three of their health centers in the Bay Area, where she resides. The expecting moms won’t be expecting the awesome and adorable gifts they are about to receive, including more than 200 footies, coveralls, bibs, loveys, training pants, layettes and silky-soft swaddles!
