YWCA Oklahoma City
Eliminating racism. Empowering Women.
YWCA Oklahoma City works to break the cycle and empower new beginnings for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in their community. Through their comprehensive crisis services, they provide an opportunity for renewed hope and a brighter future.
People in Oklahoma go to the YWCA for a variety of reasons and often in times of crisis, as many of them are survivors of rape or domestic violence. Some are seeking better health, job training or career counseling, while others are merely in need of hope and encouragement. Regardless of what brought them in, they all leave in better spirits with new skills and strengthened capabilities.
Hoping to uplift their spirits as well, KicKee sent YWCA Oklahoma City a generous donation of nearly 200 buttery-soft items for both the moms and their little ones, including women’s tops and PJs, and footies, coveralls, swaddles and KicKee’s very own books with matching plush toys for their babies!
