Transforming Lives.

The Bremerton Community Services Office, located within the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS), serves the local community by providing those in need and homeless people with basic necessities, such as food, medical and financial assistance, as well as behavioral health and other services. As a Department, they are tied together by the single mission of transforming lives and possess a shared set of values, but individually, the Washington State Department also has unique missions specific to each of their Administrations that helps them meet their population’s and community’s needs.

With winter approaching, they reached out to us at KicKee to see if we could help add some warmth to the long, chilly nights for those in need by donating some of our especially soft, warm and snuggly KicKee clothing and accessories.   We not only met their desire for SOME, but also went above and beyond by sending them a TON (more than 700) of our favorite KicKee things, including women's and men’s PJs, tops and bottoms, as well as scarves, burp cloths, socks and knit blankets!
