Avery’s Angels Gastroschisis Foundation
Calling all angels.
Avery’s Angels Gastroschisis Foundation is the only 501c3 in the United States dedicated to research, awareness and support for patients and families with Gastroschisis, a sometimes fatal birth defect that causes the intestines to protrude from a hole in the abdomen. They provide assistance to more than 12,000 families and partner with hospitals, research facilities and organizations worldwide in support of their cause. Avery's Angels humbly depends 100% on donations and volunteers to accomplish their vital mission.
As a small gesture of their support, they send out loving care packages to expecting families around the world containing snap front onesies, blankets, mitts, hats, booties, head bands, socks, legwarmers and travel sized toiletries. The care packages are sent to countries ranging from the UK and France to Canada, Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, China, Estonia and the Virgin Islands.
We donated to Avery’s Angels last year and to show our continued care and contribution to their care packages, we donated nearly 650 cozy KicKee items, including loveys, newborn gift sets, outfit sets, dresses, hats, headbands, books, blankets, tops, bottoms, coveralls and more!
